I read John Paul Jackson's book years ago and this book pays homage to the points Jackson made, and just as steadfastly.So many people rushing into battle without the slightest thought or understanding of foundational truths....the most important being...'were they sent into THAT battle??!!....Spiritual battle is inevitable, being equipped and standing ready for YHVH's direction is the key to winning those battles.Stomping off into a battle that one is not a) called to or b) equipped for is a surefire recipe for disaster, personally and spiritually.Let's hope people read and heed.

I had once picked up the book, "Needless Casualties of War" oft referred to in this book and, testing the spirits, was compelled to put it down directly and quickly. This book makes the correction of major errors in that book and doing so is of great consequence for the Body of Christ. It is kind and sensitive but it sets straight the importance of Christians giving their focus, trust, and reverence to the one true completely victorious Lord rather than fearing the demonic realm. Brenneman walks the walk and exudes the truth that we worship what we fear yet the Lord Jesus Christ has completely disarmed the enemy of our souls so that we need not fear standing against him. We do it from our vantage point that Paul described plainly as "seated with our risen Christ in heavenly places". This means we never forget we are the 'light of the world' and that darkness cannot remain in the presence of light--that is the glorious resurrection light of Christ. It is a fairly quick and clear read. Do yourself and loved ones a favor and read it. You will realize the "peace that passes all understanding".

A must read for those wondering where to draw the line on your authority when dealing with demons and spiritual beings. This book is a great eye opener. I loved this book.

I'm requiring my whole team to read this. It's a "sharpen your saw" type book . It provokes reevaluation of tools in hand in order to become more effective. Above all this book inspires a refreshing view and love for the Lord Jesus Christ. Thanks Jonathan for allowing the Holy Spirit to use you as an ignitor of faith in writing this bold thesis.

There is a lot of wisdom and truth and the Scriptures he shares and the conclusions he forms. I love His focus on elevating the glory of God and position of Jesus over any power or principality. At some points I found it a bit argumentative, but I guess that is the point of the book; to argue against some of John Paul Jackson’s conclusions. Great food for thought. I would recommend this as reading after Needless Casualties of War to consider a different perspective to spiritual warfare.

Too much criticism of others viewpoints; to the point that unless you have read the books/topics others are telling you NOT to believe or do You will be lost.
